Numerous resins have been tried and tested to achieve a leather colouring system that provides versatility in film flexibility. While at the tannery level there are many formulations for different types of leathers, it can become very complicated for a leather technician to have multiple paint systems. Our Leather Colour System allows colouring of a myriad of leathers ranging from soft aniline garment leather to heavy vegetable tanned saddle leather. The key to this system is Soft Additive and Hard Additive. Small percentages of these additives change  finish film  properties enabling one to refinish a wide range of leathers as well as vinyls and plastics. For the technician wishing to go completely water based, this system is for you. The low odour, non toxic feature allows repairs and recolouring to be done in closed air systems with minimal impact. LR Leather Colour can be sprayed on with mouth atomisers, prevals, HVLP and traditional spray systems. With the addition of  Rub Coat Additive, LR leather colour can become a tamp or rub on colour with  no top coating needed.
